These terms explain how Orbitpop works, who can use it and what you agree to when you play our free slot machines.

About these terms

These terms of use form an agreement between you and Orbitpop Studio, the operator of Orbitpop at orbitpopplay.com. When we say "we", "us" or "our", we mean Orbitpop Studio. When we say "you", we mean anyone who visits the site, takes a guest pass or opens a free account. Please read these terms alongside our privacy notice, cookie policy and player care page, which form part of the same agreement.

By ticking the box to accept these terms, or by using the site, you confirm that you have read them and agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who can use the site

Orbitpop is for adults aged 18 or over who are in the United Kingdom. You must not use the site if you are under 18, if you are outside the UK, or if you have chosen to self-exclude from Orbitpop and that period has not ended. We may close access if we believe these conditions are not met.

What the service is

Orbitpop is a free social casino. It offers 36 slot machines spread across 6 planets, played only with play coins. The site is entertainment and nothing more. There are no purchases, no in-app payments, no subscriptions and no adverts selling coins. You never pay to play, and you cannot spend money on the site in any way.

Because no money or prizes are involved, Orbitpop is not a gambling operator and is not licensed by the Gambling Commission. Playing here does not teach, rehearse or predict the outcome of real-money gambling.

Play coins and their limits

Play coins exist only to make the games work. They have no monetary value and are not a currency. In particular:

play coins cannot be withdrawn, sold, transferred, gifted or exchanged for money, goods, services or anything else of value;
there are no cash prizes and no prizes of value of any kind;
play coins cannot be bought, so there is nothing to refund;
we may adjust, correct or reset play coin balances, for example to fix an error or misuse.

You can get more play coins for free in several ways, including a free top-up to 20,000 coins when your balance falls below 2,000, a free coin drop every 4 hours, and daily missions and levels. Our page on how coins work explains these in more detail.

Guest pass rules

You can try the site without an account by taking a guest pass. To do so, you tick two boxes: one to confirm you are 18 or over and in the UK, and one to confirm you accept these terms and our privacy notice. A guest pass needs no personal data. It uses a session cookie, lasts 2 hours, opens 3 guest machines and gives you 100,000 play coins, which are kept in your browser's local storage. If you clear your browser data or switch device, your guest coins and settings will not follow you.

Your free account

A free account opens the full set of machines. To create one you choose a nickname, give an email address and set a password. New accounts start with 100,000 play coins, and your game progress, including your balance, level, favourites and settings, is synced to your account.

You agree to give an email address you control, to keep your password private and not to share your account. Nicknames must not be offensive, misleading or impersonate anyone else, and we may change or remove a nickname that breaks this rule. You may hold one account only.

Fair use and conduct

We want the site to stay pleasant and working for everyone. You agree not to:

use bots, scripts or automated tools to play, collect coin drops or complete missions;
try to alter balances, results or game code, or exploit a bug instead of reporting it;
interfere with the security or running of the site, or access parts of it you are not meant to;
use the site for any unlawful purpose or to harass anyone;
suggest to others that play coins have value or can be traded.

If you find a bug, please tell us at the contact address below. We may suspend or close access where these rules are broken.

Random results

Every spin result is produced at random by a random number generator running in your browser. No spin is influenced by your past results, the time of day or how long you have played. Return and hit-rate figures shown for each machine were measured by running that machine's own code for millions of spins. They describe long-run averages of play coins only and do not predict what any individual session will look like. There is no strategy that changes the odds of any machine.

Player care and limits

Even free games can take up more time than you intended. We provide reality-check reminders, a take-a-break option and self-exclusion, all described on our player care page. A self-exclusion cannot be undone before its chosen period ends. Please use these tools whenever they would help.

Availability and changes to the games

We aim to keep the site running smoothly but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may update, add, rebalance or remove machines, planets, missions and features at any time, and we may pause the site for maintenance. Because play coins have no value, changes to them do not entitle anyone to compensation.

Intellectual property

The site, its games, artwork, sounds, text and code belong to Orbitpop Studio or its licensors. You may use them only to play on Orbitpop for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You must not copy, reproduce, sell or create derivative works from them without our written permission.

Liability

The site is provided free of charge and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss arising from your use of the site, including the loss of play coins, progress or settings. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Ending your use

You can stop using the site at any time. If you have an account, you can delete it from "My orbit", which erases your account record immediately; this cannot be reversed and your play coins and progress will be lost. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when we add features or when the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
