Getting started on Orbitpop in two minutes
A quick walk from the front page to your first spin, with play coins only and nothing to pay at any point.
What Orbitpop is, in one paragraph
Orbitpop is a free social-casino site for adults aged 18 and over in the UK. It has 36 slot machines spread across six small pocket planets: Candy Comet, Jungle Moon, Coral Nebula, Clockwork Ring, Dragon Dunes and Aurora Peaks. Each planet holds six machines. Your guide around the system is Kip, a red panda astronaut who pops up with hints and reminders.
Everything runs on play coins. There is nothing to buy, no cash to win and no prizes of value. Coins cannot be withdrawn, sold or exchanged for anything. They exist so you can enjoy the machines, and that is all they do.
Your first two minutes, step by step
- Open any machine card and press Preview. The animated preview shows the reels, symbols and features in motion. It uses no coins and needs no account.
- If you like what you see, choose how to play: a guest pass or a free account. Both are free.
- For a guest pass, tick the two boxes: one confirming you are 18 or over and in the UK, and one accepting the terms and privacy notice. No email is needed.
- For a free account, pick a nickname, enter an email address and choose a password.
- You start with 100,000 play coins either way. Pick a machine, set your stake and press spin.
Not sure which machine to try first? Watch a couple of Previews side by side. They cost nothing and show you how each machine behaves before you spend a single play coin.
Finding your way around the planets
Each pocket planet has its own look and its own set of six machines. Candy Comet is bright and sugary, Jungle Moon is leafy and loud, Coral Nebula sits underwater, Clockwork Ring is all brass and gears, Dragon Dunes is warm desert, and Aurora Peaks is cold, quiet and glowing. Move between planets from the main map whenever you like; there is no order to follow and nothing to unlock by travelling.
Guests can play three machines: Gumdrop Galaxy, Toucan Tempo and Bubble Reef Express. A free account opens all 36. Every machine, including the ones you cannot play yet, can still be previewed.
What happens if your coins run low
Play coins come and go with random results, so your balance will rise and fall. If it drops below 2,000, you can claim a free top-up of 20,000 coins. There is also a free coin drop every four hours, daily missions that pay out play coins, and level bonuses as you gain XP. None of these cost anything, and none of them have any value outside the site.
Each spin is decided by your browser's random number generator and has nothing to do with the spins before it. There is no pattern to learn and no way to make a machine pay more often.
Keeping your session comfortable
If you make a free account you also get session reminders, a take-a-break tool and self-exclusion. You can set a reality-check reminder to appear every 30 or 60 minutes, and you can delete your account whenever you want. These tools are explained fully in our guide to healthy play habits. If gambling ever stops feeling like fun, organisations such as GamCare and BeGambleAware offer free, confidential support.
